Can you say "FRUSTRATED?"

Why? WHy? WHY? WHY?

Why can't I crop away from home? Why can't I prepare ahead of time? Why can't I pack everything I will need? I planned to work on Joseph's Windows In Time Album that I started about three years ago. Well, I ran into the SAME brick wall I ran into when I stopped working on it the last time. I'm missing pictures. I'm afraid it won't be complete. It's an album of his life from the early years to now...but pics and events are missing. If I knew that's what I was going to work on, why didn't I take the time to make sure I had everything? I sat at the 12 hour crop at Archivers for 4 hours before I decided to go home and get something else. I grabbed some page kits and headed out the door again. Get 1/2 a mile from home and my windshield wipers stop working.

Why? WHy? WHY? WHY?

I try to be proactive and grab a bag for trash (was all I had in car) to wipe off the windshield. I apply Rain-X (this has happened before). Rain-X only works when the windshield is dry. Do you think it's dry after wiping it with a plastic bag. How about NO! I drive on autopilot back home. I sit in the driveway and just start balling.

Why? WHy? WHY? WHY?

I'm so tired of dealing with issues that I can't fix. They won't go away. It's always something. I call Melody and tell her I don't know when I'll be back to the crop. She call's Neal. Neal calls me and says, "Neal's Taxi Service!" He's such a good guy. He comes and gets me and takes me back to the crop. After a 12 hour crop, I didn't even get 2 pages completed. Just plain stupid. STOOPID.

A very non-productive day. I was so looking forward to it. I sure hope this isn't a sign of things to come in 2007. This year was another tough year and I'm ready for some postive things to happen.

Glad today is over. Ugggh.

Recipe Album

I have to say that one of my favorite gifts this year was one created by my sistas in my Yahoo group. I absolutely love this recipe album. I can't wait to try the recipes...the pages look good enough to eat! Here are a few of my favorites. You can check all of them out on My Image Event Site

I am in awe of the creativity of these ladies. The penmanship, the creative drawing, diecuts, and ideas just blow me away.

Thank you to Kim, Tiffany, Terry, Kathy, Melody and Lori for creating such wonderful pages. I will treasure this always and will pass down to my kids.

New Year's Resolutions

Why do we make these? Most, if not all, get broken. Is it our way of announcing that we want to make changes in our lives and then prove that we lack discipline? Pffffffft. The pastor at my church is starting a series next week...."The 'D' Word." Yep, discipline. I hope I can carry it with me to KEEP these resolutions.

Here are a few to start...will be adding until I 'm satisfied that either A) I'm going to make some healthier habits or B) I just want to announce to the world that I want to change and lack the willpower to make it happen.

1. Stop smoking
2. Eat healthier
3. Exercise daily
4. Lose 50 pounds
5. Get to work on time every day
6. Write in my blog daily M-F, weekend optional
7. FLYLADY my house and keep it up

All of that is a life overhaul if you ask me. Yeah...check back with me on January 15th and see where I am with this. Pffffft

Birthday Wishes

Ahhhhhhh...alas I will be turning 41 years old on January 7th. Hmmmmmmmm...how do I feel about that? Not so bad I don't think. Age is relative...just a number. I'm really trying to look at it like that.

I do have some birthday wishes if anyone is interested:

1. Toyota RAV 4...metallic blue, moonroof, car alarm, remote start, heated seats (small order, huh?)

2. Home Depot gift cards to dress up my house...lots of care is needed

3. Will & Grace DVDs...I heard they are out! (Need these for lots of laughter)

4. Grey's Anatomy DVDs...heard Season 1 and 2 are out! (Need these for the "why can't this happen to me????" sniff sniff!)

I've been through some pretty major trials and tribulations in my life....but all in all, I'm a pretty happy camper. Love my prozac! :-)
